Every year Red Eagle Soaring has an Annual Summer Workshop called SIYAP (Seattle Indian Youth Arts Program) at the Daybreak Star Cultural Center. This year their play was based on a Tingit story called "The Woman Who Married A Bear". Hope you all share and like this video. Enjoy. :)
Another year of mayhem and creativity. Red Eagle Soaring is a native youth theater group that teaches how to be an actor on stage and how to manage on their own. Every year during summer they have a two week workshop to make a play by the last day and then perform for their family, friends, and the community. And every year I am the Multi Media Mentor for this workshop which is called SIYAP aka Seattle Indian Youth Arts Program. I am happy to share this video with everyone. It entails the behind the scenes how the play was made, fun activities, team building skills, speakers, storytellers, and environmental knowledge.

After a year I've finally come to finishing this video for Red Eagle Soaring. Every year the theater group has a two week workshop and at the end there's a performance hosted. This is their performance from their two week workshop and it's about an hour long. Lol.

SIYAP 2014 - Red Eagle Soaring
This is the behind the scenes for SIYAP 2014 Performance!! As an instructor I'm the Multi-Media Instructor and I teach the youth how, what, and learn the basics of filmmaking. This is simply a video of all the youth who filmed during the process for SIYAP.
Every year my theater group has a two week workshop and this year I made a five minute film of the Behind-the-Scenes. Their workshop is called SIYAP (Summer Indian Youth Art Program). I had the most wonderful two weeks of my life and in this whole process I had help from my students especially. I showcased this video at Seattle's EMP theater on August 17, 2013 and so I give all my thanks to Red Eagle Soaring and the EMP Staff who helped out a lot. I also want to acknowledge Fern Renville, Roger Fernandes, Justin Neal, Hannah Franklin, and Curtis Ahenakew for helping the actors.
