SPRING PROGRAM

Every spring, we kick off the year with our annual Spring Play. Over the course of ten weeks, students ages 10-19 join us for auditions and subsequent rehearsals while we produce an original play. Our youth get the chance to choose how they would like to engage in the creative process – they can act, support writing and editing the script, work on costumes, and learn technical elements like lights, sound, and set design.

In 2025, we partnered with Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) to produce a documentary about our rehearsal process. This partnership allowed us to provide film educational opportunities as well, where students could learn about developing a filming schedule, setting up shots, and how to construct a documentary film.

We open our show in the Red Eagle Soaring Theatre at King Street Station before taking it on the road. Our youth tour throughout Seattle and the greater King County area, historically performing at venues including Folklife Festival, Seattle Outdoor Theatre Festival, and ACT Theatre.
