Mackenzie joined RES in February 2025. A lifelong artist, in addition to developing programming for RES, Mackenzie works throughout the Salish Sea as an actor, choreographer and dance instructor.  She has a Bachelor of the Arts from the University of Washington in Musical Theatre and American Indian Studies. Mackenzie comes from the Coharie Tribe in North Carolina, but grew up here in Washington.
